I am a writer based in Sheffield, England. After leaving school with no significant qualifications, I dived into nurse training and, ironically, failed the written work after a late diagnosis of dyslexia. I've worked over a decade in marketing, and discovered the creative flex of writing in 2022 with my debut title, Missing Girls and Lost Boys.
While working full time, being a mother of three initially sparked my curiosity about reading. After consuming decades of TV and film, I learnt to overcome a fear of reading, stemming from the earlier unrecognised dyslexia, and while eternally searching for comfort in many forms of creativity, it was writing which truly comforted me. Within the year, I studied, practiced, read and wrote until completing my first very rough manuscript. From then on, I completed The Missing Girls trilogy, created the saga of the Empire Of Saints multi-verse and am always developing a new story in the background.
While not inspired by any specific genre or author, I adore the characters themselves, their relationships and the worlds they grow in. If I fall in love with these factors, I recommended them to everyone I know.
