"I force myself into the music, since it elevates everything, that’s why it’s woven into life and cinema. It can add suspense, ignite romance, attach to a memory."
Bambi Dexter
When I’m listening to music, it can often lend itself to moments in my characters’ lives. Like how movies have soundtracks, all my stories have their own playlists, which were initially created for me. I try to avoid too many modern pop-culture references in my work, but they are in there. So I will share the playlists created for my books, which I often listen to for nostalgic purposes as an alternative to a re-read.
