Do you know what they don’t prepare you for when you delve into a publishing journey? The emotions?! Sweet baby cheeses! I am dying of it. Props to the ARC team for making me cry daily. The comments, the DMs, the TikTok posts, and the reviews––I am blown away by the enthusiasm and support from everyone so far.
I don’t suppose any writer begins their journey aiming for money and adoration. Or at least they shouldn’t. That’s not what creating is. I began because I had characters and stories in my head that I just had to get out. And from that, I don’t suppose anyone ever needed to see what I produced. But I worked on it and made it something I wanted to read, and in turn, hopefully, it would be enough to entice other readers to dive in. So any positive feedback is confirmation that I’ve done something right, and I am bowled over by that. It’s still early days for the ARC team, but I want to say a massive thank you to everyone who’s shown interest, and anyone who has fallen in love with the characters.
