In a world where it’s still difficult to refer to myself as a writer, it’s ever more difficult to call myself an author. But I am.
January 27th 2026 was the publication day for Missing Girls & Lost Boys. All the writing, the editing, the feedback, the editing, the marketing, the editing, and the TikTok posts all lead to this day. After a three year writing journey, I woke up as a published author. It’s something like waking up on the morning of a big birthday and sending your child away on their first day of school. I feel exactly the same, but something is incredibly different.
The support I’ve had from family has been amazing, but what I didn’t expect was the incredible support from the humans I have met on TikTok. A lot of them became ARC readers and then turned into my biggest cheerleaders. The effort they have poured into social media, not only to support me, but to scream about my book into the world. I’m still overwhelmed by it all.
So yeah. How lucky am I to have such support?
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
