We won Book of the Year!!!

Arghh!!!

Guys! An award nomination is always an honour. And after the recent nomination of Dystopian of the Year from Romantasy Illustrated, I was more than happy to even be up for consideration among some of my own favourite books of the year!

But then Missing Girls & Lost Boys was nominated for Romance of the Year, AND Book of the Year, by Book Bonanza! I was invited to the online reward ceremony, and I really mean it when I say, I was just happy to be there! But then Missing Girls & Lost Boys got called out for BOOK OF THE YEAR!

Instant cold sweat and tears. That came first, along with the slow realisation my face was about to pop up on the live stream while I dealt with what the win truly meant.

As an author, there's one thing that people even offer interest in your book, another when people purchase/shelve it. It's an absolute honour that anyone deems MY book worthy of their time to read through those pages, and I will never get used to people contacting me to say they love the book. It's a dream, and then for my book to be put forth for such awards is incredible.

So when I say THESE MEANS SO MUCH TO ME, it's 100% true. I appreciate everyone who has given their attention to this series. My creative heart is so full, and I cannot believe this is the life I get to live.
